Immerse yourself in a world of colour, emotion and contemporary art. From 7 July to 20 September 2026, visit Sound of Colors, an exhibition by acclaimed Czech visual artist Václav Bednář, at Myslbek Shopping Gallery in the heart of Prague.

Václav Bednář is a contemporary Czech artist renowned for his distinctive reverse painting on tempered glass. His unique technique combines technical precision with expressive colour, creating vibrant works that blur the boundaries between painting, sculpture and light. His artworks invite viewers into an emotional and imaginative visual experience, where every layer reveals a new perspective.

The exhibition Sound of Colors celebrates the harmony of colour, movement and form. Organic shapes merge with geometric structures, vivid pigments contrast with darker tones, and dynamic compositions are balanced by moments of tranquillity. Each piece encourages visitors to pause, reflect and experience art through their own emotions.

Alongside his fine art practice, Bednář is also the founder of the artistic fashion label Out of Control, where he creates hand-painted garments and wearable art. His original designs have been worn by members of the legendary The Rolling Stones, and his work has been presented in exhibitions both in the Czech Republic and internationally. His paintings are part of private collections around the world, while his gallery and studio in South Bohemia continue to showcase his multidisciplinary artistic vision.
