The Men Against Cancer Foundation has been fighting typically male forms of cancer for many years, including prostate and testicular cancer. In the battle against cancer, prevention and early detection are of utmost importance. The foundation organizes the Movember awareness campaign in the Czech Republic.
For patients and their family members, they provide informational brochures and offer anonymous online counseling led by a team of experienced experts. They are a partner of the Czech Urological Society of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně, the highest authority in the field of urology in the Czech Republic.
Movember is a leading charitable organization dedicated to improving men's health. They focus on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Since 2023, Movember has funded over 1,250 projects worldwide, changing the way healthcare addresses men's health and provides support.
The Association of the New City of Prague was founded in 2005. It develops activities aimed at the cultivation and development of the center of Prague as a key public space of our country.
Since July 2019, the association has also been the coordinator of public space management in the locality of Wenceslas Square and 28. října and Na Příkopě streets, and thus coordinates the management of this central location in real time in the areas of cleanliness, order, technical condition of surfaces and furniture, greenery, mapping and monitoring .
VáclavART is an art project whose goal is to bring interesting art by young creators into the public space, thereby enlivening it, provoking and bringing new impulses to the discussion about the future form of central localities. It especially supports young, budding artists, gives them the opportunity to present their work and talent, and helps them in their artistic launch.
Guide dogs by heart z.s. is an association whose main goal is to support people with severe visual impairment through high-quality training of guide dogs, and also, no less important, subsequent service after handing over the guide dog to the client.
The Příbéhy Foundation was founded in 2022 by journalist Silvie Dymáková, together with her partner, director and dramaturg Petr Bělík. They have been helping single parents since 2018.
The fund continues the activities of the association Příběhy říku, z.s., which was primarily devoted to publishing authentic confessions on the website www.pribehylidi.cz< /a>. The Příběhy Foundation has expanded its activities to support the elderly.
